Sounds like one of the diodes are shorting out usually happens when you have had a model for a while and you turn it off and on alot most likely you will have some compositors go out also along with a transistor these all will be on the power boardand are fairly cheap to replace you can shop around and get the power board for around 100 bucks or so

How do I Fix LCD White Screen?

If you see "fractured lines" across the screen, it would appear that your LCD screen is broken. That's the only way these kinds of lines appear.
You need to replace the screen.

The monitor goes black while on

Open it up and look at the capacitors. The round "tin can" looking components. If the tops appear bulged, then replacing them may help. Check out the YouTube video... and web site...

Check to see if you have inadvertently hit the CRT button which turns off your screen to turn on an externally connected screen even if there is no external screen plugged in. OR you could have a bad (Back-light) or (Inverter)

Screen Goes Blank

Ive seen this on other monitors. Look for a 1 and 2. Some monitors do NOT auto detect a signal, and this one might not. Look for a way to set the monitor from Digital input to VGA input. Try that and see.

LCD Screen going bad?

This set has had a problem with the LVDS cable from the Main PCB to the panel. The wires are delicate and the connection is not that great. Sometimes unplugging and reseating the cable does clear intermitent problems like yours up. Good Luck
