Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
VGA to VGA cable is the most common. Check your LCD has a (usually blue) VGA port and check your laptop - You can't miss it its a rectangular plug with 15 pinholes.
If your LCD has it then you can buy a cable for a couple of pounds and then plug it in and usually it's a case of ctrl f5 if the laptop does't switch automatically.
