There is a built in protection fuse inside your DVD system, and there is no need to connect a fuse external. Anyway it is wise to connect a 4Amps 250VDC Slow blow type fuse and it will act as an extra protection. This is a glass cartridge type fuse, and can be bought from most of the electronc sparepart dealers. OK.

If your device getting no power, then first check the wires, whether theyare connected with the power source correctly. If the wires are ok, then it'smost probably the problem with the main circuit board. Circuit board could beburned out or some parts are faulty. If you wish to repair yourdevice, then tt is always recommended that you contact with a qualifiedtechnician for servicing your device to avoid facing the same problem or someother problem in future. You can once visit the manufacturer website forrepair/servicing and for any further assistance: http://www.iatft.com/. AV
