SOURCE: replacing blower motor in furnace w/Fasco brand #D727

Some one missed the wiring diagram. I believe its like this:
L1 = Line 1 = (Hot all are same thing)
Black Hi
Blue Med
Red LO
Now usually the black is for AC and connects to a normally Open (NO) contact on the blower relay.
The heater speed (either red or blue) go the the normally Closed (NC) on the blower relay and on one side of this wire or contact on the relay it goes to the heating blower thermostat on the furnace.
The remaining wire (blue or red) you tape off.
L1 also feeds the Run Capacitor on 1 side and the Brown wire feeds the opposite side

The white wire is Neutral and goes to the neutral on the main line.

If this helps you please rate me accordingly and good luck.

Fasco model d917 wiring diagram

Well, a Fasco is a generic brand name of HVAC replacement motors.... a little more information would be helpful....like the wire colors???? Each Fasco motor has a wiring diagram on its side and is self-explanatory. Post a picture of the diagram and it will be much easier to walk you through the procedure.

But TYPICALLY....white is common
black is high speed
red is low speed
blue and yellow is medium low and medium high
two brown wires go to the capacitor

Some manufacturers have oem motors that have a few different colors.

Janitrol GMP 100-4 replacing blower new blower has extra yellow wire. do I just not connect it

Look on the motor wiring diagram, being that it is yello would lead me to believe that this is
a muti-speed blower. If this is true, look for a place on the terminal board that says "Park"Otherwise make sure you tape it off and move it out of the way

All I have is this Fasco # 71902773. Need the "D" number to know what to order

"D", when refering to an electric motor, is a dimension; it is the distance from the 'bottom' of the motor to the center of the shaft. I'm not sure why you would need it but if you do, sit the motor on a flat surface and then measure from that surface to the center of a shaft and you'll have the 'D'.

Your Fasco motor was made for Greenheck...google the model number and several sources come up such as this one: When searching use "Fasco 7190-2773" as the search phrase...
