Never heard of a HDD making siren sounds but if you mean a series of beeps from your PC then they are codes which indicate the problem.

See here for how to interpret them.

Is the a 12v power adaptor for the Yale easy fit siren EF-BX unit that can be fitted to the siren instead of the batteries ???

Because your system is designed to operate off of batteries only, coming up with an external power supply to work around the original design becomes an issue. In order to do what you want to do you would have to have a rechargeable battery maintained by an appropriate charger that would run the system from the charger/supply, charge the backup battery and switchover to the battery in the event of a power failure. These do exist and one manufacturer is Altronix but there are several, you just have to visit a DIY alarm website and get recommendations bearing in mind the battery voltage your system is designed for and the amp hour rating necessary to keep the system running the duration of the power outage and beyond. Keep in mind the reason for your alarm system is security and compromising that with homemade non-UL retrofits might not be the way to go, your choice.

There is a loud siren sound from under the dash of my 1983 toyota coaster when i turn on the ignition

Sounds like you might be having a bearing failure on some component underneath the hood or a very worn pulley assembly causing the belt to squeal.

How to make a battery siren bicycle locks at home

Simple alarm using a Mercury switch, a tilt switch, a relay, a siren, a keyswitch, to reset, and a battery. The relay will latch, and until the Key switch is turned OFF it will continue to sound. When tilted, the Mercury switch conducts, as tipped past a certain angle, and alarm sounds, use a all-in-one siren.

Screen goes blank after afew second on ac inly

Try booting to the Safe Mode (F8 at boot) see if you get any further. Also, does the system complete boot (DO you hear windows sounds?) or is the system just hanging after the Splash screen (You can also try an external monitor and press Fn+F8 to enable the external display) If you can get video externally, then is it likely a LCD or video card failure. If you can't boot to the safe mode and you do not hear the Windows Welcome sound that normally plays at the desktop, then the system is not booting and you have either a hard drive failure and/or an operating system failure.
See if you can boot to the BIOS (F2 at boot), then reload the default settings and reboot.

If you suspect the OS is a problem, boot to the XP CD, then run CHKDSK /R and see if that helps
You can also run system Diagnostics by pressing Fn+the Power button

Computer when turned on will not boot and makes a long beep continuously and then makes like a siren sound

The long beeps probably mean a problem with RAM. So try replacing it. Check whether the CPU Cooler (the fan on top of the processor) is working. If the fan is not working, the processor gets hot, and a siren sound is emitted. Also check whether power unit fan (at the back) is working. If RAMs are replaced and you still get the beeps, the problem may be with the VGA. (The beep sounds help to identify the problem, but the sounds differ with different BIOS models).

Regarding boot failure

If you can boot with a Windows 98 floppy boot disk, then do so, you need to run scandisk. It is also possible that your hard drive has failed, you can go into the bios and see if it is being recognized.

My siren 4GB mp3 player

Why does my player display "Boot error, Shutting Down" when I switch it on?
"– The player has been formatted with the wrong system, for example NTFS, Mac OS or Unix. To enable it again for playing audio tracks, please format the player in FAT/FAT32 format."

– If formatting was not successful, please reinstall the firmware while the player is in Recovery mode (Refer to the chapter "If the player does not work" in your instruction manual).

Hope this helps. M~

Wirng up a bw10000 car alarm to a dj systems siren

If you're connecting at the alarm module - you want the red wire from the siren to go to the brown wire on the alarm(the one that's in a plug with 12 or so other wires), not the red (red wire is the constant power input to the alarm).
