Dryer does not heat, but does tumble clothes and blows air., what is wrong?

Check the electric heating element. This is a long coil, looks like a long spring. That spring (coil) could be broken. If it is broken, you can just take it and twist the two halves together and put it back in. OR buy a new coil spring.. This is in the bottom of the dryer.

Heating element. How about just replacing the coil?

you can get a re-string kit if its the open type heating element round pan style and re-string it yourself for about $30-$40

Heating is not hot

Either the wires to the heating element have burned out, the heating element is shot, or the temperature sensor is shot. Unplug the dryer and check the heating element for continuity, check for burned wires between the relay and the coils, and check for continuity across the cold temperature sensor. Replace any defective parts.

How do i get a broken pich bolt out of my rear spring so i can replace it, drilling is not working

1. You can replace the spindle = Expensive
2. You can use a small drill bit (cobalt) and drill though enough to use an extractor to remove the offending piece.

Suggestions to help might be to use a little PB Blaster and or heat on the bolt before trying to remove the offending piece before you attempt to remove it with an extractor. Take your time as you will most likely get only one chance to get it out.

Extractor sets are pretty cheap at Harbor Freight if you have one near you. You can insert the extractor from either side in the bolt hole.

Frigidaire lower element not working

Does the element have continuity??Did you do an amp reading with the element connected?? Do you have voltage at the element terminals??If you have voltage at the element and you don't read amps when unit is on then it's the element. If it's the coil? The board should be replaced.Local appliance store may have it or can order it.

Running but No Heat

Theres other things that cause a NO heat problem ... ITs wealth worth the investment of a muti meter to do checks 12.oo dollars or so...

but the heater is in the back.. need to pulll off back panel of dryer.... heater is in right corner faceing back of dryer.

here is a link to help replace... I would check to see if any coils are broke .. sometimes light taping on heater coils is required to find a broken coil
