Can not figure out which relay for the power locks in my 1997 ford expedition

The relays should be on the fuse panel. There is also another fuse and relay box under the hood.

The relay your looking for is behind the right side of instrument panel , ford calls this a relay block , because there are three relays in it driver unlock relay , all lock and all unlock relay ! I cant be more specific , my diagram isn't very clear . You may have to take the glove box out to get at it.

If one works then the relay is not the problem

My truck did the same . I used Wd40 on all the door joints,latches,locks and the problem stopped immediately

The wires might be crumbling and not transporting electrical current. You could try changing the wire.

check your fuses, and relays located under the hood, on the drivers side. "they should be located in a black box. also some models have a fuse box located under the instrument panel on the drivers side. hope that this information has helped you.

CHECK POWER WINDOW UNLOCK RELAY.

Start with checking all your fuses and relays. If all the fuses and relays are good you may have a problem with the door lock switch on the drivers side door.

should be under dash on the right side of steering column, I think the original flasher unit (relay) is yellow, hope this helps, let me know

try using a spare key first
