Wall ovens Our WW30403B was working inthe convection mode for 11/2 hours and the the beeping started and the F7 error came up . I pressed cancel and it did not go off, so I turned off the power as the care manual stated. What is my problem, and how do I fix it.

I assume the membrane strip is the 11/2 semi transparent strip. I unpluged the strip, turned on the power and now the clock is blinking and cannot reset it but no error code is showing.

  • mollerroller May 11, 2008

    No error is present

  • mollerroller May 11, 2008

Is there another name for the touch pad? The parts listing does not recognise that description of a part.

  • mollerroller May 12, 2008

The clock just kept blinking a time and would not work by pressing "clock" to change it.

This Usually indicates a shorted keypad. Turn off at the breaker. Unplug membrane strip connected to the clock from the clock, turn breaker on. If code comes back replace the clock, if no code you need the touchpad replaced

Let me know how this goes, thanks

    yes, that was the membrane

Were you able to get the clock working.

instead of touchpad it may be control panel or something similiar or knob something etc.

This was extremely helpful to me. Mine was beeping F7 and I did as this said, unplugged the membrane strip connected to the clock from the membrane (I think that's what it was supposed to say), and the error did not happen again. So my control panel clock is fine, it's the keypad membrane that needs replacing for me. Thanks so much for this helpful information. Saved me a lot of money and hassle!

this error is something to do on the contro pad, it sometimes or usually shorted or malfunction on that area. look for some stuck keys or bad contact point into it..

    thank you

How to address F14 code? Convection oven does not start.

Hey friend, thanks for your post!
I see that your Electrolux wall oven is displaying an "F14" error code. "F14" stands for display tail missing, which means you could have an issue within your main control board or keypad. I would perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by flipping your household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue I would suggest seeking a professional to come out properly diagnose and repair your appliance. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F7 error code is displayed when the clock assembly/electronic range control (ERC) goes bad and needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Our JTP15 beeps and displays F7 is there a reset for it?

Yes, you will need to press the stop/cancel button, this will clear the error code and the display.

I was cleaning my GE profile convection oven and after the 3 hour cycle, an error message F 1 started flashing, and the oven started beeping.

We frequently see this symptom due to a failure in the electronic range control (ERC). We repair a lot of these.

Amana EvenAir Convection Plus Self Cleaning Oven will not unlock.

My oven was locked and would not open. No lock light was on but the oven was clearly locked. F9 error when I hit certain buttons.

Try this. I unplugged the oven for about 5 minutes. Plugged back in. A LOCK light came on. Held down "Oven Cancel" for a few seconds. Door opened and lock light went off. No more F9 error when I hit those buttons.

Random beeps, oven almost starts itself

The touch pad may be defective. There is a membrane behind the buttons that will cause problems like that. The only cure is to replace the touch assy.
