You have to remove one leg of the suspected resistor from circuit then check it for resistance if there is no resistance then that resistor is open and will need to be replaced.

Can i have a full view of a MTX Thunder 81000D amplifier two resistor got burn beyond recognizance and i need to replace them

Not sure about getting a better view but I suspect that you have more problems than just replacing the resistors. Like what caused the resistors to burn?

How to trouble shoot front blower

There are several reasons for a blower to stop working. Does it work on ANY speed? Does the AC compressor lamp or any of the vent control LEDs still work when using the AC controls? Do ANY of the speed for the blower work or are they all dead?

1st, you wanna check your fuses. There will be fuses in the underhood fusebox marked blower or heater fan, check and repalce as necessary. Also, if the earlier check for working LED bulbs on the AC control panel showed some or all lights dont ever turn on when engine is running, you may have problems with the control system.
if the fuses are good, now you need to test parts. there is a blower motor speed control aka blower resistor that frequently fails on most cars. It is the part that carries the current for all speeds of the blower and regulates speed when commanded. It has to absorb the excess energy to lower speeds and it tends to get very hot and burn out as a result. If it has failed, there will be power IN on one of its wires, and no power OUT on any others. If you have no multimeter or testlight to check things like this, Id recommend taking it to a certified mechanic.
If the control lamps all work that means controls have power, if the blower resistor has no power, fuses or blower relay are the most likely cause. if the blower resistor has power but still no fan, most likely your fan has failed. as a general rule, I replace fans and blower resistors as pairs. fans tend to last longer, but they also get more demanding with age (kinda like people) and that extra demand will burn out the newer resistor much faster than when the fan was newer. it can be alot of time and money to change a blower TWICE, so to be sure it wont fail again, test current, or simply replace the blower fan if it is determined a resistor has failed. (a good fan in theory shouldnt draw enough amperage to burn out a good resistor, EVER, so if the resistor burns, the fan is typically drawing too much power, and even though it works "fine", it will burn the next resistor in a short time as well.).

2002 Chevy blazer blower motor Keeps

Well, the resistor is probably shot. Problem is that it melted wires as it was going out. And now it is shorted to a hot wire. Blowers and the controls runoff the ignition run wire. Good thing is that the wires usually burn near the blower or resistor. Bad thing is that they could also burn by the fuse panel or the ignition switch. Are you good with a multimeter?

My indesit cooker keeps blowing the fuse

Could be a shorted part. Thermostat, resistor, etc, without looking at it, very hard to tell what is wrong. Some part is shorted you will need a multimeter or look for burned part.

Radio Shack Multimeter, 22-168a, shunt resistor value????

Go to the Radio Shack site and you may with the model number find a schematic or you can email/contact them for the value of the resistor.

I predict it is a precision value and type you will have to get from them if available.

PS: you posted in wrong catagory as this is TV section.

If you were in the UK I would suggest that go to Tandy or Maplins or any other good electronic supply company.

1995 Cadillac STS 3rd brake light OUT?

No it wouldn't be a fuse because it's partially still working,LEDs are wired in series so it could be one LED is burnt out or the current limiting resistor has opened for that section.Repairing it would be fairly simple but will require a multimeter preferably with a diode tester and a soldering iron.If you're not familiar with using a multimeter and testing electronic circuits I would say let a professional repair it or replace the whole unit.Comment back and I will give you the test procedures if you fell confident in making the repair.

Convergence module

To start on how to dissasemble the whole thing I went to but this was for my philips 60 inch TV, the process is the same, you need to open the back of tv then start numbering all the cables it was for me about 22 cables & then remove the chassis out, then you will see two stk's 392-120??? or depending for your model may be different these are 2 black modules, also when they burn out usually 2 resistors will burn as well you need to check their resistance with a multimeter. It's easy you can get a multimeter at a near Electronic components store I found it on the yellow pages for my city the stk modules are $8.50 & the resistors are .25 cents each I spent about $35 dlls for the whole thing cause I had the mulitmeter & solder & the ironing solder You can buy everything at try to buy everything you need online only one time cause they charge around $7.90 dlls for shipping so take advantege on ordering all together I made the mistake I ordered the stk's modules & not the resistors but I found them like I said in a local Electronics components store.
P.S. the stk's are more expensive at Ebay, good luck
