hi, your turn table is a belt driven one. The speed turns down when the belt become expanded. you should replace the belt of your turn table. Also put some lubricant in its center shaft ( not from the top lubricate it slightly after removing the plater).
I have here added some video related to the replacement of belt for turntables. Not the exact for your one,for all the belt driven turntable the procedure is the same ok
Under the felt of the turning section, there should be two rather large holes. Insert your thumb and forefinger and pull the table off. You should also see where the existing belt is running. Insert new belt around the motor first and replace the table section. Now, through the two holes, manouver the belt onto the table section until it spins freely

the belt is at the button of the turn table.
lock down the turn table and turn the turn able upside down, unscrew the 4 screws and open the button plate. you may need to get a new belt. make sure it is the right size.(that may be a difficult, now a days).
01- Remove the rubber cushion.
02- Remove the Turntable Platter
03- Place your drive belt around the ridge inside the platter
(Make sure that it is not twisted)
04-Place your Turntable Platter back on the unit
05-rotate your platter until you can see a brass knob through one of the round holes in the turntable. (Your belt must be placed around the brass knob) The best way is to take a toothpick and carefully slide it under the drive belt and then pull it out enough that you can place it around the knob. I had the same problem and the above works. If you still have problems getting it back on contact me 352-377-1828......
