I have a william furnance and need a manual

Without knowing the Model Number of your Williams Furnace, it's impossible to help you. However here is a link to a site that has Williams Furnace Owners Manual. Look for your Model Number and you can download and print the manual.

I have water leaking out the bottom of my furnace when the aprilaire 700 is working. I have tried everything to resolve. It was working fine last month. I changed the water filter, cleaned the lines...

How old it your Aprilaire 700?
Eventually they all need maintenance, cleaning or replacing dirty or inoperative parts. The bottom Water tray has a drain tube that needs to be cleaned or replaced every fall as it will plug up with mineral deposits washed down from the unit. Adding a water filter to the inlet line (if you don't already have one) will reduce mineral scale build up and reduce the need for cleaning and maintenance. Some water filters may bypass uinfiltered water when very dirty. If thats OK, then the solenoid valves could be dirty, worn and now leaking all the time (not shutting off at end of operation cycle) These valves, 2 usually 1 Low volt operated 24 VDC supplied by thermostat and or humidistat when caling for heat, and 1 High volt 120 or 240 VAC suppiied by furnace fan delay switch, All Gas furnaces have a fan delay to allow the heat exchanger to warm up so the furnace does not blow cold air at the at the start of every cycle of heating. Both have to br powered on to allow water flow.
Click on the link below and read the Aprilaire Manual maintenance page. This Manual covers several models, so disregard parts not pertaining to your model number.
Remember to turn of electrical power to unit, furnace, air handler if a split unit, and don't attempt anything your not exceeding your experience level.

I have a rheem gas furnace and one of the limit switches tripped and I need to know where to locate them--they are some where in the burner compartment I just can't find them.

Depending on the age of your furnace the limit swithes are part of the control board and are not individually serviced. You will need to replace control board. On the older units that used a seperate fan and limit the only thing you could do was change temperature settings. Hope this helps. Thanks

Code #33 on Bryant 355MAV 90i Furnace

'Limit or flame rollout switch is open'. In my case, the flame rollout switch had tripped due to an overheating? I had to push the button between the wire leads to reset the switch. Then when I turned the power back on, the furnace started up like normal.

Why did the switch overheat and trip? My current theory is that there was a rubber grommet around a pipe near the switch that had slid down and was no longer sealing the furnace?

Ruud Furnace needs replacement

What part of the country?
How many square feet in the house?
Insulation?
Single pane glass?
Many factors should be considered by a professional.
However if the old unit worked OK, a new 80% 70,000 unit will most likeley replace a 24 year old 60-70% 75,000 unit.

Carrier 48ss-048120341 propane unit smells bad, smoking. think the heater tubes may have holes in them. how are they removed, can they be replaced, can I braze holes if found

First recommendation. Turn off the furnace, and buy some carbon monoxide detectors. I definitely do not recommend you using the furnace without them.

Yes, the heat exchanger can be replaced.
No, you would not want to attempt to braze the holes.
If the HE is cracked or has holes, it needs to be replaced. That can kill you.

They are usually removed by disassembling 90% of the furnace and part of the cabinet. This is a major repair, and not a do it yourself issue unless you have some experience and training in the operation of furnaces and electrical controls.

Also be aware that your HE may be under warranty depending on the age of the unit. Most are 10 year warranties. Some are even lifetime.
