Hi,
That is probably the electronic air cleaner...they do that when they need to be cleaned or if there is alot of dirt going through...

Check it out and clean it...

Power surge now furnace does not work

Look to see if there is a spark clicking noise when you advance the thermostat. If not, the electronic control board is most likely the problem.

Heat....Furnace will not start up worked fine last year it is getting power... I can hear I light hum in the furnace but it will not start it process

If its a high or mid efficiency furnace most of the time the sequence of operation goes as follows: tstat calls for heat (R&W at tstat ) ventor motor starts, pressure switch closes, spark or hsi lights pilot or main burners. main blower motor comes on. From your description of a humming noise it sounds like maybe the ventor motor is seized.

Myhot water furnace made a loud crackling sound after I turned on the heat and there was some water leaking at the base level of the heater. Also, there were splashes of dirty water on the inside doors.

You have a cracked heating chamber and will need to stop using the furnace, if you haven't already. And call a Service Technician. This is not a DIY repair.

I have a rudd hot air gas furnace, ignitor sparks

to carmelmontgo; do you have a smart gas valve sometimes the wire connections get loose. remove wire connector then reinstall. also cleaning a flame sensor will work if the flame sensor is good. I would check the ground connection sometimes contaminated with rust. also I would check the gas pressure with a gas manometer...my email is alpharomeo@windstream.net

I have a new home 1 yr and when the furnace kicks in, I am assuming the fan it makes a noise but as soon as the heat starts the noise is gone, could this be the furnace blower

Check by turning the unit off and turn the fan to on. Do you hear the noise now? The noise your hearing could be coming from your combustion fan assembly instead. Newer furnaces have a in-shot burner and are nosier than the old style of heater.

Weatherking furnace flashing 5 times.......

Sounds like it it isn't the igniter but probably the pressure switch. You can only tell by the clicking noises as they system goes through it's safty checks prior to the call to the igniter.
