I have had this keyboard for sometime. I never received a Disk or rom with it. Some of the Multimedia Keys work, others do not. I would like to see a manual and have the correct Drivers installed for this keyboard.

Keyboard issues are relatively easy to troubleshoot. If the cu has another keyboard available then try that keyboard or if the cu has another system avaialble then test the keyboard on that system. Remember when the keyboard is unplugged the system will usually need to be rebooted before it will work again.<br />
<b>Wireless Keyboard:</b><br />
If only some of the keys don't work skip to the section <b>Some Keys Don't Work</b> below.<br />
<li>Resynchronize the keyboard. Press the connect button on the keyboard for 5 seconds. Then press the connect button on the receiver for 5 seconds
<li>Change the batteries.
<li>Try reseating the receiver if possible.
<li>Try positioning the keyboard closer to the receiver.
<li>Skip to the section <b>Generic Troubleshooting</b> below. </li></ol>
<b>Some Keys Don't Work:</b><br />
<li>Check if any of the num lock key, shift lock key, etc are causing the issue. This is especially prevalent on laptops which don't have a distinct numeric keypad.
<li>If it's only the multimedia or hotkeys that don't work then try installing the specialized multimedia keyboard software that came with the system/keyboard.
<li>Try reseating the keyboard and rebooting.
<li>Go into <b>Accessibility Options</b> in <b>Control Panel</b> and check that <b>Sticky Keys</b>, <b>Filter Keys</b> and <b>Toggle Keys</b> are all switched off.
<li>Check if the problem occurs in the BIOS. A good screen to test with is the create BIOS password screen if the keys don't work here then a new keyboard is in order.
<li>Continue on to <b>Generic Troubleshooting</b>. </li></ol>
<b>No Keys Work:</b><br />
<li>Try reseating the keyboard and rebooting.
<li>Try power draining the system. This can be particularly effecitive with a laptop.
<li>If this is USB try a different port.
<li>Try entering BIOS - if you cannot get into BIOS then the keyboard probably needs to be replaced.
<li>Go on to <b>Generic Troubleshooting</b> below. </li></ol>
<b>Generic Troubleshooting:</b><br />
<li>Try uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard driver and reboot
<li>Try system restore back to before the problem occurred
<li>Check for malware or 3rd party software that may be interfering with the function of the keyboard.
<li>FFR or replace/upsell a new keyboard. </li></ol>
Generally, most keyboards should work just fine when plugged in. Often if a keyboard has multimedia keys these may not work until driver software is installed to let the keyboard use them.
With laptop keyboards sometimes dust or other material may get under them causing keys to not function correctly. Compressed air can blow out debris if this is the case. Just read the instructions
on the compressed air before using it to keep from damaging componnents.
You have a defective keyboard spacebar. Just get a replacement. I have a problem similar to what you got. Since it was delaying my work, I have it replaced. Anyway, keyboard doesn't cost much. There are a lot of choices that you can buy at a bargain.
usually to use the extra shortcut keys you have to load on some software, from microsoft's website or from the disk that came with the keyboard, without it, the keyboard will only work in a basic manner
You may be tripping over an accessibility option. Try this:
1. Click the Start->Control Panel menu item. 2. Click Ease of Access. 3. Under Ease of Access Center, click Change How Your Keyboard Works. 4. If Turn On FilterKeys is checked, UNcheck it. 5. Click Apply or Save.
