SanDisk 1GB microSD Memory Card

I have the same problem. Trying to copy pictures to the micro card, getting the error message that card is write protected. Tried the drag and drop thing, no avail. Tried formatting with the phone, still got the message. Tried to format with my computer, couldn't because it was write protected. Do I just go and get another card?

It worked. I had to tape the tab in the up position. I called Best Buy and the salesperson told me the tab on the adapter is just to lock the micro card in place. Thank you Mike@compurepair.

I purchased a 2GB Micro-SD Card. My computer claims it is un-formatted but it will not "complete" the formatting when I try. Also the capacity being displayed on my computer for the Micro-SD Memory is 3.78 GB however my Blackberry displays the capacity as 1.87 GB? I cannot add music or pictures to the Micro-SD, Help?

First try to see is there any lock in your media and see if its not locking the pen drive, because some pen drives comes with that option to protect usb ..if its not

Use the Registry Hack to Disable Writing to USB Drives
Here is the link .just download the zip folder and after opening the folder you will find a file just double click on it..

You can't even format them when they are write-protected. I have the same problem with 2 different SD cards. The lock is in the off position but it still says they're write-protected and can't be formatted either.

Hi,
The write Protect tab, is usually write protected with a small white plastic flick switch, On The side Of the SD Card. If its Down, or In Lock Position. Then It,s Write Protected.

What can i do to download a music vedio to my memory card?

Good Day,

there are 2 way.
1. use a Card reader
2. use a data cable for your device

Before you copy make sure that the file you need to copy can be accomodated by the space of your Micro SD. After that just simply Copy Paste..

Trying to use Micro SD memory card to put music on my phone. I can see the song titles but get an "Invalid File" message when I try to play music.

You probably need to convert the songs to mp3 format to play on your phone. What model phone and what music format are the songs (what are the last 3 letters of the song name, the file extension?)

How do I use the SanDisk adaptor and the SanDisk 2GB microSD

Hello,

The micro card (the smaller one) can be used alone in a port that accepts (microSD ports)such as those on a Sansa c240, c250, e250 etc.
If you have a regular SD slot (larger than microSD) then you plug the micro card in the adapter and plug the whole into a regular SD slot.

Plug the card in your computer and copy paste the files. Or plug the micro card in an MP3 player that accepts it and use you music transfert software.

You only have one card (the micro SD one), which you can use in two possible slots.

Hope it helps.
