RCA RT2600 System

RT2600 Issue

posted by JohnG1178 on May 10, 2008

I have an issue where the system is only detecting the front speakers. However, when I set the test mode, all speakers are working. The system runs on DVD/COAX. There have been times in the past where this has happened and I was able to correct the problem by toggling through the DSP settings. Any ideas?

A lot of older receivers only decode 2.1 audio through digital inputs you need a DVDplayer that has 5.1 analoge outputs that hook into the six channel RCA audio Jacks labled
Center
Sub
FR
FL
RR
RL
Blu-ray and HDDVDP's usually have these outputs.
