Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

Would I be able to download a missing Setup Poster for the HP PSC 750xi? I purchased a used device and want to know how to use the install CD that came with the PSC. I realize that I must first uninstall the plug and play installation drivers that I allowed to be automatically installed originally.

Hi There,

Here are the steps you should take since it's not possible to download the poster you seek.

1. Go to the Control Panel and uninstall the printer from there & restart the computer if requested to.
2. Once back at the desktop, hold down the Windows Logo key on bottom left of keyboard and hit the R key. A Run Window will appear. In that window, type %temp% and hit ENTER key. Your Temp File window will appear. Put the cursor in that window and left click once. Hold down the CTRL key and hit the A key. All files are now highlighted (selected). Hit the Delete key and remove every file not currently in use.
3. Go to the link below and once there, choose your operating system and click the green "NEXT" button
4. Choose the "FUll Version" of your printer software/drivers and save it to your Desktop. Double click on that install file and follow the instructions and prompts exactly.

Your printer will now be correctly installed.

Best Regards

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a new computer with windows 7 premium 64 bit and a hp psc 750xi all in one printer how do i get the drivers to have my printer work

  1. Navigate to the HP website. http://www.hp.com.au
  2. Click on the Support and Drivers section, located at the top right of the page.
  3. In the for product field - type in: HP PSC 750xi All-in-One Printer. Press <Enter>.
  4. Click the Software and Drivers Download link.
  5. Click the link Microsoft Windows 7 (64 bit).
  6. Click on the link that says, Installing the Product with the USB cable ...
  7. Here you will find HP's solution to the problem.
Note: HP have not updated their drivers for this printer for use with Windows 7. You will be able to get basic functionality from your printer, but not all of the features of your printer. You may wish to shop around for another printer. If you do, make sure you check what systems the printer works on (i.e., xp, vista, windows7) etc...

My computer doesn't recognize that my printer is hooked up every since I unplugged it and moved it.. I don't have the manual and I know that there is a certain order in which things are pluged in.

To avoid errors, install the HP PSC software before you connect the HP PSC to your computer. If an error message appears and you clicked Next or OK, do the following:
1 Press Esc on your keyboard to exit.
2 Turn off your HP PSC.
3 Disconnect the HP PSC from your computer (detach the USB cable).
4 Follow the software installation steps outlined in the Setup Poster that came with your HP PSC.

If you receive a message that you have a previously installed version, you will not be able to finish installing the HP PSC software. You will have to uninstall the previously installed version in order to install the HP PSC software.

If your computer is unable to communicate with your HP PSC
If communication cannot be established between your computer and HP PSC (for example, the HP PSC status icon has the yellow error triangle), try the same tasks outlined under If Microsoft’s New Hardware Found message does not appear on page 57 of the manual.

Here is a link to the manual for your printer...

Power cord installation

Power cord receptacle is on the right side of the "Protrusion" on the rear of the machine (as you look at it from the back). I assume you are missing the cord? It should be a standard power cord like on your PC - you can tell by comparing them.
If you're still confused, go here and download the "setup poster":
