Question about Grohe 32 999 KD0 Alira Pull-Out Spray Kitchen Sink Faucet, Stainless Steel

1 Answer

I have a grohe 33 939 europlus ii kitchen faucet with removeable head. I have to replace the flexible hose with a new one but can't seem to thread the new hose down the faucet body. It gets stuck - probably where it needs to go through a relatively small hole in the body. Does anyone know how to thread the new hose down the body?

OMG, after wasting 1.5hrs, found easier way. Here it goes - Pull the black plastic tube from underneath, pass the hose thru and push the plastic tube back, connect the ends of the hose (need 2 wrenches for under the faucet and hand tighten at the sprayer end) And presto - you are done. Total time now - 10 minutes flat.

The easest way to thread the hose down is to remove the faucet from the sink. If you look under the sink you will be able to look up at the faucet and see what the hose is hitting. Sometimes if you move the read to the left or to the right you can get the hose in.

Good Luck

How do you remove the supply line from the spray head?

The hose should simply unscrew from the back of the head.

We are trying to replace a Grohe kitchen pull out faucet hose. My husband bought an Ace universal pull-out hose which is now stuck (husband tried to thread it through the faucet opening.) Does anyone...

The universal hose will not work on certain model faucets, best bet contact manufacturer and they may provide you a new hose at little or no cost if you tell them you will put a different brand faucet in.

The pull out water line to the brass europlus II

yes, i replaced my american standard hose it was a lot of work to get new hose down the facuat body, you can go to their website and get part number and price for hose. my amercian standard hose was about the cost of a new facuat, so i adapted a differebt make to fit with reducers and nipples.

Problem of leakage with a new Grohe bathroom fauce

what part of the hose? on some grohe's there it an o-ring on the end that threads into the bottom of the faucet that sometimes can leak if not installed right. but replacements can be found through your local wholesaler, not home depot or any hardware store.

Low hot water pressure on Grohe LadyLux.

1. If by replacing the flexible hose you mean the hose for the pull-out portion - you have more than likely kinked or bent the supply line to the hot (left) side of the faucet.
a) If this supply is braided, then simply shutting of the water supply, removing the braided line and either replacing or attempting to straighten it out will be your best bet.
b) If the supply is copper, you will have to cut the line cleanly and carefully. you will then most likely need a 1/4" or 3/8" compression/quickconnect BY 1/2" IP fitting to complete your repair.
2. Other possibilities include:
a) Failure inside the faucet body which will most likely be warrantied by Grohe if you push them hard enough.
b) A problem at your hot water tank, most likely the outlet side and *perhaps* you hadn't noticed the problem elsewhere.
c) The hot valve failing to reopen fully despite all appearances; applies if you turned off the water under the sink for your repair.

I have a brand new Europlus faucet with hardly any water flow. I had the first Euro faucet with good flow. Why is the water flow so low on a brand new faucet.

when you installed did any teflon tape or debris get inside? you can remove and reverse flush with hose and it may clear the blockage
