There are numerous cases why the computer keeps shutting down. One is the pc is slow to react, the other is when the pc is in idle mode, it did not respond accordingly to its idle time to come back to its original settings. These are just the samples.
To solve this problem, kindly turn off the computer and remove the battery and cables to it. Then using your forefinger, press & hold the power button in between 8-12 secs. Then reinsert the cables and battery to it. Turn on the pc and let your computer be idle in 30 mins. If in 30 mins your pc will shut down, that means there is trouble on your memory module inside your laptop. The RAM (Random Access Memory) keeps your computer in safe and running condition for it is avoiding the pc to automatically shutdown. That is the time to consult ASUS about this issue...
