SOURCE: Danby DKC645BLS Tap is Jammed
The sugars in the beer are causing it to stick, if you don't use it regularly it dries stuck. You can sometimes gently force it, but it would probably be better to disassemble and soak the tap.

You said ,Top half of Danby DKC645BLS refrigerator 10 degrees warmer than bottom half. Bottom half cooling to approx. 34 degrees.
Is it running all the time without cycling off and on as it should be doing?
Sorry to have to tell you this news.
But this would mean a bad thermostat or insufficient freon in the cooling system.
The same issue with the fact that one compartment is warm and the other is cool!
Let me know that service tells you!

Call them and ask to buy the part it should be pretty cheap. I just bought a replacement keypad for mine and they sold it to me right on the phone no hassles

Your compressor is not starting and in your case you have a thermal induced problem.
I looked for about an hour for parts below on-line with little success. (Danby sourced)
You have 3 possibilites as far as what is causing your problem.
1. PTC start relay / Klixon (2 parts as an assy)
2. Run capacitor
These are not expensive parts even if you ordered all of them.
The sad thing about it is the parts are probably available at your "local" appliance parts store.
If you can look at your compressors' label and copy down the
Manufacturer (i.e Embraco, Mitsubishi Elec, Panasonic etc) and ALL numbers (including LRA)
you can take that info to the local appliance parts supply and walk out with the parts in hand.
Otherwise your looking at calling Danby (number below) and telling them you need a PTC Start relay / Overload and run capacitor.
Thanks for using FixYa
