The gas lines will as you know have air in them. AFter trying to start several times the heater will lockout.. I would suggest turning power off to unit and turning back on to reset.. Try several times until gas finally gets to unit... did this work ?

Honeywell manuals

Turn the fan in the ON position to verify you have power to the furnace. If the fan turns on, turn it back to AUTO. Pull the thermostat off the wall to get to the low voltage wiring. If you have a gas furnace, pull the red & white wires off and pinch them together. If the furnace starts, the thermostat is bad. If it doesn't start, then begin looking for flame roll out switches in the furnace burner compartment to manually reset. If the furnace inducer (combustion motor starts, & you get no flame, then it is either an ignition problem, or someone didn't pay their gas bill. :0

Furnace blower won't turn on

You may need to replace the sail switch. It senses the fan speed and when it connects the gas valve should open and furnace should fire up.

How to light pilot on Dayton furnace and then start furnace

If this is a standing pilot system, turn the gas valve to pilot position. push in the knob & hold while lighting pilot...keeping holding knob down for a minute... this will pick & hold the gas valve. Let go of the knob & see if the pilot stays lit, if it does, then turn the knob to on position & the furnace should start if there is a call for heat from the thermostat

I'm looking to buy motor for an Airco Gas furnace model ACF-45, serial #DI-109. The motor is Tamper, 1/6hp, 1727rmp, type S-100336. Do you have any suggestion?

Hi, W/D here.
Make the necessary sketches, showing what color wire goes to which terminal (trust me on this, it's a really good idea). I do it whenever two or more wires are involved, and I've been known to also lable terminals with the wire color with a "Sharpie". Remove the motor and start capacitor. Take both with you to your local appliance parts supply house. They will match you up with a similar motor, and match the capacitor to the new motor. Getting the exact motor you described isn't important. Getting a good quality replacement motor with your horsepower rating, shaft size and matched capacitor is. They'll have it, and the cost will be less than running one down. I installed a replacement in a furnace last week, with the motor, capacitor and a pack of crimp-on terminals (I ran out!) costing about $109.00. Your's may be less at 1/6 hp. The one I installed was 1/3 hp, replaced a GE, and works fine.
Best regards, --W/D--

Thermostat shows error on unused zone

You will need to take the inside cover down on the front air conditioner. There is a control box mounted there, open the control box and you should see many dip switches on the face of the board. Make sure that Zone 1 and Zone 2 are selected (furnace as well if your furnace is fed through this thermostat). After making sure that the switches are set, turn off the thermostat and hold down the mode and zone buttons at the same time, turn the tstat back on. When EE appears on the face, release the buttons and see if everything works. If not, then I would say that you have a bad control unit in the air conditioner.

Fault Code on Dayton Gas Furnace

This happens when the furnaces tries to light to many times and doesnt succeed. If you stand in front of the furnace while it is coming on, you will be able to hear the problem. If its an electronic start, there will be a clicking sound, followed by the gas valve opening to start it. If it has a pilot light, make sure it is lit, then listen for the gas to come out, it will make a hissing sound. If no gas is coming out, first double check to see if the gas is turned on to the unit, if it is, then its possibly the gas valve. Oh, if it is electronic, and you hear gas, but dont see a glow inside the furnace, or no glow or gas, it could be the ignite. Hope this helps.
