Question about Televison & Video
I was watching the tv one night and it suddenly shut off. I tried to turn it back on and it keep going though cycles until finally it stopped, the all three lights where flashing. I went to my owners manual and saw that it could be the bulb went out.
I orders a bulb from a company on ebay and recieved it this Friday. I removed the old one and replaced it with thenew one i recieved. Needless to say, NO LUCK. I made sure that the case was securely placed into the space provided assuring that both pegs where sticking out of the holes next to the screw. I made sure that the access door was securely placed , as i read that the set would not turn on if it sensors picked up and open door. I then plugged it back in and turned the set on, but it still will not light up the bulb. I goes through two or three cycles and then stops, with all three lighsts flashing.
Did i get a bad buld from this company?
Is there something else that could be wrong with the set?
Should i call Samsung and have them come out to see the set?
Your new bulb is most likely ok. maybe bad thermo protector near lamp. or bad ballast or worst case light engine.Call a local tv shop to come out and look at it,
prices as low as 160 for thermo to worst case light engine 600
Make sure you closed the cover that gos on lamp there is a switch that will pervent tv from coming on if you dont have cover on.
