Question about Sangean ATS 808A AM/FM/SW Radio
Radio took a dive off a shelf- telescoping aerial broke. Is there a replacement part for this? If so, how does one obtain one and how easy is it to replace?
The antenna should be available from Sangean, or C.Crane.
To replace the entire antenna, about 6 screws from the back must be removed, and the back also removed.
Or you could replace it at the antenna's "elbow". However, this is almost impossible to do without loosing the 2 tiny washers. If you do loose the washers, the antenna will work, but will be loose, and not stand up and support itself.
