Check at your Carburetor there are levers and rods connecting to your engine block, one of em is to keep engine from over revving, it needs to be adjusted regularly, as if it is not set right your engine will not respond very well.

My 1995 90 horse Yamaha runs 5 at 5/8 throttle but if you open it wide open for about two minute alarm goes off and it shuts itself down what's the problem

alarms that shut the engine down will be connected to engine head temperature, water pump pressure /flow or fuel mixture
check that when a full rpms there is a good water flow from the telltale or if you have a pressure gauge fitted for the cooling system check that it is at operating pressure
check that there is not an over heating problem or a fuel flow when there is a need for full fuel flow
discuss the prob lem with an accredited service agent to check for service bulletins on the problem

Wide open throttle engine will not pick up rpm like bad ignition

On most vehicles there is a wide open throttle cut out switch or it is programmed into the PCM/ ECM . Kills injectors ! To find out if yours has it , try an start the vehicle with gas pedal held to the floor .

It was missin now wont start

must be 90s week?
no starts, but cranks fully and full crank speed, which is near 300 rpm, called robust cranking but notarts.
its flooded.
(compression not above150PSI) means the timing belt has slipped.
and will never run right again, ever do the 60k tuneup yet.
if not , why not?
flooding.? so many way to flood.
1: spark plug tips x4 all wet with fuel.
use the cracking (wide open throttle like the op.guide shows)
this cuts all fuel, (EFI)
2: no spark, check spark x4 and if all 4 are dead, try the coil.
if the coil is dead, no spark there, then the dizzy is toast.
90 cars are a stand alone dizzy, meaning ECU is not doing this.
3: Flooding can be caused by other things.
see em all here.
over 28 ways !
but there are only really 3 ways.
1: bad engine (60k tuneup skipped.)
2: bad spark
3: bad fueling.

it is one of those,
there are 2 exceptions.
1: EGR main stuck open. (this kills fueling to start and low rpm)
2: CAT melted (this kills an engine, it cant pump air. )

Have Onan 3.6 KY propane gen that will not keep running. Runs only as long as start switch is pushed. Then stops immediately after release. Fault code is 15 (underfrequency) and suggests removing heavy...

I am not familiar with your peice of equipment but from your description of the fault being Under Frequency it appears that generator governor is out of adjustment or the governor spring has brcome weak or broken and not allowing the engine to run at the correct speed to produce an output frequency within the allowable tolerance. Governor linkage could also be binding and not moving smoothly to respond properly to engine load conditions. Thoroughly check governor and throttle linkage for free and smooth operation and full range of movement.
Another cause could be that the engine is not getting sufficient fuel causing the governor to have the throttle wide open to try to get engine to run at its correctly governed speed but unable to do so because the engine is not developing enough horse power.

Volume will go wide open by itself.

Volume control switch on handlebar is defective. It's not a radio issue.

My troy-bilt 8.5 horse 26 inch wide snowblower wont move anymore.

Take the belt cover off that covers the drive pulley on the engine. You should only have to loosen two bolts. Inspect the belt to see what it looks like. I am not sure if it drives a gear box or if it turns a friction wheel that drives the wheels. If the belt looks good check for shear bolts that might have sheared off and replace them.

Maxim tiller won't run

Try better quality gas. I had the same problem. Ethanol too high in lower grade gas. Buy better grade or ethanol free. Mine works fine with better gas.
