Question about GE WBSR3140DW Top Load Washer

1 Answer

The cold water just drips into the machine. We took the hose off the back and cleaned it out and it worked for a day. Now I think there is something plugged inside the washer but I don't know how to get to it.

something has to come out the other end. where do you think the water is going? it has got to go outside, if not it will end up in the condensate tray and shut off your unit if you have a float switch.

Hi just read your posting. Now the place you unscrewed the hose from on the machine end is the water valve. If you look at the water valve from the back of the machine you should see a plastic filter inside the water valve.Clean this filter if it is blocked. Now refit hose to machine and try a fill cycle again. If it still has inadequate water flow then the water valve needs replacing. If it needs replacing I can guide you step by step to replace the valve.Looking forward to your reply.
