The door doesn't have any tension on it and when it is opened it opens wide and bangs against the counter top. Is there any way to adjust it?

Hello,

Check the hinges on the refrigerator door, it is possible the hinges is worn out, that is why the door does not have any tension, if that is the case, you will need to replace the hinges on the door.

Take care.

How to have Hisense Doors stay opne and not self close

Here are some general steps you can try to make the self-closing doors stay open:

Locate the hinge cover on the upper doors of the fridge. This is usually a plastic or metal cover that conceals the hinge mechanism.

Remove the hinge cover by gently prying it off with a flat-head screwdriver or by unscrewing any screws holding it in place.

Look for an adjustable tension screw or tab on the hinge mechanism. This is typically a small metal tab or screw that can be rotated or adjusted.

Use a screwdriver or pliers to adjust the tension screw or tab. Turning it clockwise will usually increase the tension and make the door close more quickly, while turning it counterclockwise will reduce the tension and make the door close more slowly or stay open.

Adjust the tension screw or tab as needed until the door stays open at the desired angle.

Once you have adjusted the tension, replace the hinge cover and test the door to make sure it stays open and closes properly.

Keep in mind that adjusting the tension may affect the performance of the self-closing mechanism, so you may need to adjust it again in the future if you notice any issues. It's also important to be careful when adjusting the hinge mechanism, as improper adjustments could damage the fridge or cause the doors to become unstable

Erratic garage door opener

It is an adjustment problem. Any obstruction and the door goes up again. So try adjusting again but don't leave space to invite rodents that will cause damage to car wiring. I am just going thru that.

ADJUST TENSION DOOR

Just below dish loading door there is a panel. Remove screws (if applicable) to find tension adjustment. Turn screw to the left to loosen or opposite lifting door open or closed untill happy with tension. Some washers have no adjustment, I suggest opening door fully and pulling out bottom load tray, loading and then top tray or rack, pushing top in first then bottom rack. Use a glass fry pan cover or fry pan for weight on door while filling soap. Good luck, best regards

When shutting the door, it rubs against the side. The other side has plenty of clearance. How do I adjust the door?

If it rubs against the cabinet that its under there should be two clips that are attached to the top of the washer and is screwed to the underneath of the counter top. Take the screws out of clips and counter top and you should be able to move it enogh to fix the probels.

I just fixed a me super but the frame counter doesn t reset when the 36st is reached or when I attempt to open the camera. HOW DO I RESET IT without openning it?

By opening, do you mean the back cover or the top cover?
after rewinding the film opening the back door will reset the counter. if it does not reset, try firing the shutter with the back door opened a few times. this counter is mostly plastic.
with the back door opened try taping the top cover over the counter to free the counter gear.
if it still wont reset the top cover will have to be removed and the counter repaired.
there are no new parts available for this model Pentax so a good used counter could be expensive.
if you take the top cover off, usually the pointer plate on the right side of the counter is rubbing on the counter preventing it from resetting.

Motor is driving only one direction counter clockwise that closes

TRY UNPLUGGING FOR ABOUT 5 MIN.

THIS RESETS THE CIRCUIT BOARD.

IF THIS DOESN'T HELP TAKE OFF THE COVER AND LOOK AT THE LIMIT SWITCHES IT MAY BE RESTING AGAINST THE UP LIMIT - THIS WOULD TELL THE DOOR TO CLOSE - THE CHAIN MAY NEED TO BE SHIFTED - WITH THE DOOR FULLY CLOSED AND THE OPENER RESTING AGAINST THE CLOSED LIMIT REINSTALL THE CHAIN. & THEN RECHECK ALL ADJUSTMENTS

HOPE THIS HELPS

Hi, I have a GE counter top microwave (JES1651). It is just over two years old. It has worked flawlessly until two days age when my wife put in her tea cup to reheat it and shut the door. When the timer...

What usually breaks is the door open lever.

On a counter top model, the outer cover will need to be removed to diagnose and repair this. On an over-the-range model, only the control panel needs to be removed.

Please unplug the oven first.

If you or someone you know wants to look into this, we have critical safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa.

Once it is apart, you'll be able to see how the door open button would press against the door open lever, which would then lift up against the door latch heads (hook-like projections on the door) and the door should open.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams here and order parts for less by entering the part number here.

Door

You can't.  The door is preset at the factory and doesn't have any adjustments.
