Question about PC Desktops

Ultimate Mahjongg 20 main menu is blank (black) and only shows game titles when cursor is placed over them - one by one. Is this as it should be? I had hoped for a traditional tile face, is there a way to bring up Majhongg in a traditional layout?

You need to go into Options and Reset the Game. You will see a Option to play in Basic Mode, that is what you want to do.

Screen is black and only shows cursor blinking in upper left hand corner. Keyboard not responding. Changed the keyboard 3 times.

Start the computer up and repeadetly keep pressing DELETE to access BIOS menu, Once BIOS menu is aquired make sure that BIOS can see your main harddrive, If that checks out then you may need to set your booting device order to boot the harddrive that contains your Operating System. If that still does not work then you may have a bad motherboard.

Does dskchck & freezes if cancelled goes black & only cursor show

That's a common problem with Vista...you'll need to restart your computer. Start back up in safe mode...by pressing F8 at the boot screen. then restart your computer normally through the start menu. After this I would find a good copy of Windows XP Professional and back up my data, and install XP over vista.

Dear Ceceboo,
It Seems that this Game is required higher graphics resolution and your existing system cannot support that , please read the minimum system requirement ,which is mentioned on Game CD.If your system fulfil these requirement then you can just download the directx and install it on your system but i repeat again ,you must read the system requirement first ,which is mentioned on your game CD.

Be Happy Always.

Technical Questions Q. Ultimate Mahjong refuses the run at all

A. Make sure you have DirectX 9 installed, this is a games library created by Microsoft, and can be downloaded freely from here. If it still does not work then you can contact our technical support at support@inertiasoftware.com.

Q. Ultimate Mahjong runs slowly on my computer how can I make it faster?

A. Ultimate Mahjong probably runs slowly because of your graphics card, make sure you have the latest drivers for it installed and that you have DirectX 9. Trying changing between 2D and 3D modes, and see which runs the fastest. Finally, many people find that Ultimate Mahjong runs faster in a 16 bit color mode, so try changing your display settings.

Q. Ultimate Mahjong will not run and keeps telling me I have an incompatible display, what should I do?

A. You should try changing your display settings, some video cards cannot run Ultimate Mahjong in certain color modes. Try setting your display properties to a 16 bit color mode, this usually solves the problem.

I own the game Ultimate Mahjongg my computer i windows vista and I cant play my game that is my favorite I do not know too much about computers Im a senior and I love to play mygames can you help me ?...

Mahjong is probably an XP game. Right click on the game icon. the click on properties. when the window opens, you will see the tab labeled "Compatability". Click on that tab, then check mark the box that says "Run this in compatibility mode", then in the drop down box select Win XP. Click apply then OK.
Then play the game, it should work fine.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Is your HDD LED flashing? -Try pressing F8 on startup to show the boot menu option of your OS if it is Windows. If it does appear use Safe Mode first. If not successful try re-installing your OS.
