Question about Intel D865PERL Motherboard

Very low sound

Im using Windows Vista Ultimate, the problem is that i have sound, but it sounds to low, even you have 100% volume. Any idea how to fix this?

Have you tried the settings in Control Panel - Sounds and Audio Devices.

The volume of the sound and speakers can be adjusted here - perhaps your main volume is set too low?

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there

try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
if you dont have a motherboard disc you will have to download the drivers
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it

I WANT MSI MOTHER BOARD VGA DRIVER


I sound through one speaker, the right is extremely low. I've upgraded to windows 7 ultimate from vista ultimate, problem is still there.

are you trying to use speakers that require amplification?

try pluging headphones to the sound port and if they sound good you are using the wrong kind of speakers.

Sound problem in D946GZIS


I am having sound problem with motherboard D946GZIS .
I have installed WINDOWS VISTA.
The sound use to come as if the playback speed is too slow but the video use to be at normal.
Also, the volume of sound use to be too low

How do you mean nothing is showing up?
The fact you can get into BIOS usually means that something is right.

This board can go upto 2GB RAM

look at the kingston configurator page for info and compare it against the memory you bought (exact part numbers are a must). With Windows VIsta Ultimate you should be using 1gb Sticks not 512.
