Question about HP Officejet 9110 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Hi
How do I get around this. They are expired, but I hate to replace them as they are full. I have to use the copier, which is about all I actually use it for. I will NEVER NEVER buy another HP product as long as I live.
Do you know how I can get it to copy without replacing the color cartridges? I tried taking them out altogether as all I need right now is the black but that didn't help either.
Thank you so much.

Reset the time on the printer, to do this by
holding down the up and down arrow keys
this will take you to the maint section, scroll
down to the date and time section, back the dates up to before those of the ink cart. accept "yes" using the left right arrow, wait
for print to cycle the date. turn power off and then on ,,this should clear error and allow to print,,sky5031

Could you try selecting print in black only in the HP printer properties. This might help.

Nope Kathy that didn't work either. It just locks up and will not let you use it no matter what. Even taking the cartridges out altogether didn't work. Thanks anyway for your suggestion.

Setting date back allows printing with old cartridges. Look at date printed on side of old cartridge. Set date back to same year. Messes up fax date, but that is only downside, I can think of. Press Menu button, scroll to and select Maintenance then select Set Date and Time. I can't get old or new color cartridges to print though. Black prints fine, colors no. I tried cleaning print heads. I don't want to go to the expense of replacing print heads. Cleaning print heads did not work. Until now, I was a faithful HP buyer. No more. They had a customer for life, now they lost 'em.
I have the same problem. On someone else's suggestion, I reset the date on my printer to one year earlier. Now the printer will print again, but in black only. The color cartridges are all full, but I'll be darned if I can get any color to come out of them. Well, at least I can print black again, but if anyone knows how to get the printer to print from the (full) color cartridges, I would be grateful.
