Your description would suggest either loose wire or a short in the switch. Take the unit apart and check to see that battery terminals are tightly connected.

if it is a gurgling sound then the unit may not be on a level surface. Shift the unit slightly or check if the wheels are level and put some padding under the offending wheel.
But if it is a crackling sound then most likely the compressor motor capacitor is leaking and needs replacement.

HAVE A MEGALOOP+ hearing aid SYSTEM. THE SOUND FROM A NEW DIGITAL TV IS DISTORTED CAN I ALSO PLUG IN A MICROPHONE TO USE WITH THE NORMAL SCART ATTATCHMENT IF SO WIRING INSTRUCTION PLEASE

I would imagine the level is too high. Does your loop amplifier not have a sensitivity control?
You could come out of the scart socket but check for a headphone volume control first!

The connection standard requires that the pins are utilised in the following manner:

Hope this is useful.

I have conflicting advice as to whether i should be using synthetic or standard oil. please advise

VW group have TWO service regimes,annually/10k or extended ( when the service indicator shows when you need to service it).this is set when the dealer supplies the car NEW.it cannot be reset after.VW group products fit 5/30 fully synthetic when new and the type of oil for services is determined by the service type,I.E. annual/10k services, use 10/40 semi synthetic and for extended/20k services use 10/40 fully synthetic.check the oil every 500 miles as ALL VW will use oil.if you bought the car used, then, rather than use the service indicator, do an oil change EVERY year and use semi 10/40.if a dealer services the car the service indicator should be reset EVERY time.

How tointerface an audio technica mb 4k to computer

As long as the microphone is getting power (via a seperate phantom power unit, or using batteries, the MB 4k can use AA) you should be able to plug into a computer with no trouble, as long as a couple other things are set. You'll need two things in addition to your mic and battery.
1) You need an adapter to go from XLR to 1/8". Go to www.sweetwater.com and search for "XLR to 1/8". They are around $10.
2) Your computer must have a "mic" level input. It is probably a red connector. If your computer only has a "line" level input (probably blue), then you will have to use the mixer, or some in between unit to up the output of the mic to line level.
Not sure why your mr8 is outputting so low. Make sure you have phantom power turned on.
Best of luck!

I HAVE AN ONKYO TX SR500 AV RECEIVER WITH A 5.1 BOSE SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM WITH SONY TV. MOST RECENTLY ONLY ONE OF MY SPEAKERS IS WORKING ON MY SURROUND SOUND. ALL WIRES ARE CONNECTED. I CHECKED ALL...

The symptom you described can be caused by any number of things. I always start with the output power transistors which are the first things to blow with a speaker output overload condition. Unplug the power cord to your unit, remove the top cover and use an ohmmeter to check resistance from C to E on all 10 of the power transistors (Q6050 thru 54 and Q6060 thru 64) attached to the large heat sink. Blown transistors typically read <1 ohm, compared to good transistors that are >10k ohms. If you find a bad transistor it will need to be replaced.

Did you set all your parameters (see manual, page 15)? After that, you can then also change the levels of each speaker (page 16) also.
