I HAVE ALL IN ONE KODAK 5100 BUT DOESN'T HAVE THE SOFTWARE TO INSTALL IS ON MY COMPUTER HOW DO I FIND THE SOFTWARE TO INSTALL

The Kodak support site has the software available for download: http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/list/c/890/selected/true . Make sure that you are on the Downloads tab and use the drop-down menus to select your printer (Printer > All-in-One > 5100). The first file in the list is for most Windows OS versions (XP through Windows 8).

Click on the appropriate link and then click the Download button on the next page. Make sure that the printer isn't directly connected to the computer when you run the program. Then connect the USB cable after the software is installed.

Note: this doesn't include any third-party software that may have been on the original disk.

I hope this helps.

(if you had the USB cable connected, you may need to uninstall the Windows generic driver for the printer from the computer. In Windows, go to the Printers Control Panel and find the printer. Left-click on the printer and then click Remove on the Menu Bar. (Alternatively right-click on the printer and select Remove Device.)

My Kodax easyshare 5100 printer needs to be installed into my new hp TouchSmart300PC. My old E machine died and I have misplaced the disk to installation Kodak. Would you please help me add it to my new...

Going to the Kodak website and download the updated drivers and software for your operating system would be your best bet. Another option would be to connect, at least temporarily, your old hard drive to the new computer and get the drivers off of it but this will not work if you had XP on the old machine and have Win Vista or Win 7 on the new machine.

Kodak 5100 series is not recognizing refill

Forgive me for asking this, but roughly speaking about 80 to 85% of problems involving ink or toner are resolved by the following:
Are you using a manufacturer’s factory new ink cartridge or toner? I
f you are using a refilled (worst possible choice) cartridge , toner or ink, or third party cartridge (2nd. worst possible choice) that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using the manufacturer’s new ink cartridges, then please contact their technical support group. Factory new cartridges usually have warranties on them.

Your pronter should have come with a driver disk. You should disconnect your printer from the computer and run the installation from the disk. When prompted, connect the printer to the computer to complete the installation.

Will not print black at first now nothing

Sounds like the typical printerhead issue. visit http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/repair/troubleshooting/troubleshooting.jhtml?pq-path=10355
if it is then kodak will send you a new one to replace. very common as kodaks ink is very thick for better photos but in turn clogs the printer head faster.

I cant get kodak 5100 drivers to install

If they do not have a driver on the website specifically for Windows Vista, you could try a Windows XP driver and see if it is compatible. If not, you will not be able to use the printer without the specific Driver software. Hope this helps.

Can't install easy share 5100 installer

Well there could be something on your computer. I advise you to clear all kodak files on your computer. You can simply type Kodak and delete unnecessary files.

You can also download their software for free at www.kodak.com/go/downloads
