I have a new Canon PIXMA MP210 series printer connected to a Dell Vista laptop. Everything was fine until today. I tried to print out a page for a bank account. The page came out with only the header (in color), but did not print the rest of the report (in black ink). I tried printing the same page on another printer & it worked fine. A new black cartridge was just inserted. The color cartridge is just about out of ink, but I do not want to replace it
because of price. When I printed a different print project, the page was perfect. What should I do?

On Canon's support page for this printer PM210 Support there are 3 different driver files available. One is for XP and Vista 32-bit systems, one for XP 64-bit systems, and one for Vista 64-bit systems. If you know what system you have select it in the drop down menu and download and install it.
I originally posted this problem and I have since found out it is a problem with only one version of the Asus Notebook series, namely the Asus A5Z otherwise known as the Pro 50Z. Asus were extremely quick emailing me an attament showing me what I had to remove from my laptop.
You simply go into the REGISTRY EDITOR (easily found by doing a search once you're in WINDOWS) and then follow the instructions I have attached to this explanation. Hope the picture can be enlarged so it can be viewed.
The main thing you have to do is to remove/delete the entry entitled
Hi Mate, Ok go to this link and download the driver you will find a dropdown menu where you just select your Operating System. Just below that download there are manuals etc for download. I would suggest you delete everything on your System First that is associated with the printer. Unplug it from the computer, and install the new driver DO NOT Plug printer in until asked to, oh and the link nearly forgot. Just cut and paste into your tool bar
