You should oil all the gears as well as all the nuts and bolts holding the wheels to make sure that they can turn smoothly when you pedal. I would also recommend you oil the front wheel shaft to make sure that you can smoothly turn the handles.

If the carb is new, then make sure the fuel is fresh- LESS THAN 30 DAYS OLD!!! Is the plug good? Air filter OK? Good oil in the engine? Make sure that the shut off cable hasn't stretched. It may make contact and shut off the engine.

Weed eater 22" mower with

Hi stnstomper...

Look under the mower for a square plug or allen wrench type plug, this will be your oil drain for the motor.
Some of Briggs & Stratton motors do not have an oil drain plug...
If you do not have an oil drain plug then you will have to run the mower to get it warm, then remove the oil fill plug and tip the mower towards the oil fill plug to drain out the oil thru the fill plug hole.

I bought it from a yard sale, with no instruction book, and i cant get it to sew a strait stich, it sews zig zag only even if i change knob control, I cleaned it oil it, help?

You don't say what model this sewing machine is, or how old. Some older machines had cams that created different stitches. (they sort of look like weird little cogs)

Did it sew ok before you clean/oiled it?

My yard machine wont start, i have spark, fuel, and compression. yes there is gas in it. has oil. starter cranks and I pulled the carb off and cleaned the float and everything. the starter almost looks...

Probably not the solenoid they usually work or they don't. Slow cranking could be due to weak battery or bad connections, check those. If all is ok starter motor could be bad. Always check simplest first.

Replace the plug with a new one. If still bad, drain the carb as condensation from the petrol tank may have collected in the float bowl. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

I have a 2000 gsxr 750 everything sounds ok,runs ok,but oil light comes on and motor powers down like a sensor going restarts but does it again...

If you are sure you have enough oil, check if you have enough oil pressure. You should be able to borrow or rent this from an auto shop. If your oil pressure is fine, replace sensor.

I bought a mtd yard machine at a yard sale today. It is a model 116-50 6f18 1A36c40219. It seems to work great except it smokes a lot. Is this normal or a problem. Thanks

well its more than likely got to much oil in it or the oil needs to be replaced usually when one smokes thats what it is or some one has glipped it on its top and all the oil is at the top of the engine if its that it will stop sooner or later
