Question about Dometic RM2852 Refrigerator
These refrigerators do not use a compressor. They use a heat source, flame or electric element, to heat the ammonia/hydrogen mixture until it vaporizes. When it cools and condenses it produces a cooling effect and absorbs the heat from inside the refrigerator. If the elements/flame are working and all of the lights are working you will need to look at the back side of the refrigerator for a yellow ash like residue. If you see this then your cooling unit has ruptured and is bad. If you do not see it but still have no cooling effect then the unit is probably clogged and will need to be replaced.

If nothing happens at all, very possible the thermostat is faulty.Typically the light in the fridge stays on but the compressor is off.
