- My Sony Ericsson w580i doesn't send or receive texts. I was trying to send a text message and it wouldn't send and saved the message to my outbox.
In this state, my phone also does not receive text messages.
I assumed that I lost service and ignored the problem for a few hours.
Later, when I turned my phone off and on again, however, the problem seemed to be fixed.
I could then send messages and received several text messages that I apparently missed as my phone was malfunctioning.
This problem has become increasingly common, and is to the point that I have to turn my phone off and on nearly every time I would like to send or receive text messages.
This is an extremely frustrating problem, as I won't receive messages for hours and, when I restart my phone, will receive many at once that I should have received hours ago.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
