Light saying no coffee no water or dreg door not closed

I just bought this machine refurbished.wondering if there is some thing I can do to save shipping it back to NY because I live in MT .the machine will not let me proceed with any operation including primming the machine. I checked and made sure all things were full and in place including the brew group. Tried all the easy fixes .Is there a way to get past the self test on this machine?

I have the same problem. Saeco advised me to open the turbine hole a little more using a screw - but it did not work.

If the light is constand red, and you have everything in palce, water filled etc.
it is a faulty sensor.

What i do to check this is as followed.
Take away the bean lid, does the light start to blink?

remove the dregdraw, again does the light stat to blink?

if so the sensors are working and its probebly the watertank sensor that is broken or not fully placed by the factory.

If the water tank sensor isn't working, you can trick the machine into working by attaching a small magnet, and taping it to the magnet on the dreg discard box. You will see a small metalic opening on the box, so if you attach a small powerful magnet, the machine will think that the water tank is in place.Be careful though, if the water sensor isn't working, you may drag air into the circuit if you don't keep the water filled, and will then have to purge the system. Try these:
30 Neodymium Magnets 1 4 1 16 inch Disc N48

Saeco coffee machine with a red blinking exclamation point light won't make coffee, how do I fix it?

When the red exclamation point is flashing slow, something is not where it is supposed to be, bean hopper lid, door, brew mech, water tank empty, dregs box or water tray on dregs container is full. If the red exclamation point is flashing quickly, open the steam valve for pump priming. If pump turns on, and water passes correctly, the light should go off and return to heating stage. If not, we have a blockage or a pump that is not working correctly.

Right red light is blinking all the time

Alarm LED:
• Permanently on (one or more causes): No coffee left, water tank is empty, empty the residual water
tray is full (in this case the dreg drawer also has to be emptied to prevent problems).
• Flashing slowly (one or more causes): Brewing unit is missing, dreg drawer has not been inserted,
coffee container cover has not been inserted, service door is open, rotary knob for opening the hot
water / steam is not in the right position.
• Flashing rapidly:Ventilate the water system

I just received my brand new talea giro plus in the mail today. went thru the instruction manual and set everything up step by step. when i turned it on the very first time the red exclamation point is...

I had a similar problem. I opened and closed the water tank, the top coffee bean coffee and the dreg door several times. I even 'stirred' the coffee beans a bit. Finally, after simply taking the coffee bean cover off and putting it back on, the light went to green. Even now, several months later, I sometimes have to open and close everything to make the green light come on, although it seems to be getting better with age. (like me :-))

What does it mean when the green LED light and the alarm light are both permanently on at the same time. There is a full tank of water, service door has been opened and shut and the dreg drawer is empty...

Hi, Turn off the machine and turn back on again. If both lights are permanently on that means you need to empty the dreg tray. Pull out the tray and wait until the red light start flashing, then put back the tray, the red light will go off.
Another meaning is when you press the coffee button and see the red light came on, that means the grinder motor is not working. Hope it will help.

Hi there...have the light continually flashing red...have cleaned it all out and everything is puched in etc...any ideas what it could be?

Had the same problem, switch off, take out the coffee dispensing unit. close everything else up, drip tray, dregs box and front door etc then re apply power. It'll clunk and whir a bit then stop. Switch off and refit the coffee dispensing unit making sure it fits flush with the rear of the housing (you can check this by looking through the hole where the dregs drawer fits. power up again and it'll clunk and whir again as it resets the dispensing unit. I hope you'll find that it's ok now.

How can i reset de saeco odea giro plus ? I can not place the central unit because the axes or spindle is not in the right position.

Turn off the machine. Open the side panel, remove the dreg tray, remove the dreg box and remove the brew group. reinsert the dreg box without the tray. Using a flat head screw driver insert lightly into the slot where the brew group sensor is until you hear a click. Hold the screw driver in place while closing the side door and turning it on. The head will re-align. Now open the side panel, remove the box and reassemble. Leave the machine off for an hour and turn back on. That should reset it.

Saeco odea go. the brew group is stuck, i cant get it out

Turn off the machine - open the service door and see if u can tilt out the tall dregs container and remove it and the drawer. You need to get it past the coffee par rejector flap on the left of the brew group. It sticks out half way into the left hand side space.
Close the door and put in only the tall dregs container. It has a metal bit on the back the releases a magnetic reed switch inside the machine.
Turn the machine on and you should hear the drive rotor moving. As you move the dregs container back and forth, the drive motor should turn. The idea to is fool the machine into getting the water inlet point in the back of the brew group to clear the boiler pin in the back of the machine so the brew group can be removed.

Saeco Magic De Luxe dregs light problem

Make sure that both the tray and dump box are placed correctly- otherwise the machine will not start. Both have a switch and when that switches are not engaged, the machine will not turn on.

Tray and Dregs light flash when machine turns on

You can't make the light go out because the dreg drawer, brewing unit and drip tray, all activate micro switches when they are inserted. One or more of the micro switches have gone open circuit, or they may just be dirty or clogged with coffee granules. You can only fix this problem by opening the machine up.
The light goes out when contact is made with the micro switch. No contact made, no light goes out.
