When I first got my phone the alarm was working fine but now it just sounds muffled and I tried everything what can I do to make it louder again?

How does everything else from the speaker sound? If everything else sounds muffled, then there might be an issue with the speaker itself, which isn't readily repairable. If everything else is fine, check and see if the sound is coming out of the correct speaker. I am assuming you've adjusted the alarm volumes and rebooted the device...

Yamaha RX-V2700 no sound from any speaker outputs

Make sure that you have the correct input signal selected.
Also, check if the sound is not muted.
If you have a multi-room speaker switch, make sure it is set correctly to main speakers.

No Sound

carefully plug back the minijack for the speaker at the out or spk,
normally the sound card has three ports 1. for MIC 2. LINE IN 3.OUT (SPK) - SPEAKER.
carefully plug the minijack for the speaker into the third one - OUT (SPK) - SPEAKER.
in pluging it in, first put on a media clip on the windows media player and carefully plug in the minijack for the speaker and surely you will hear sound.
