Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

I just purchased a Hip Street MP3 Player. I downloaded songs onto it and listened to them for about a day. I went to turn it on the next day and an hour glass appears on the screen. The hour glass does not spin and the sand does not move and I am not sure what has gone wrong or how to fix it

It also may be you have placed a file on the player that it doesnt recognize properly. Try connecting your device to your computer, "If" you can get access to the device on the computer, Copy off all the music you put on it yesterday. Place one song on it, just to test functionality. Let it sit on the USB charger for an hour (just in case) and then unplug and try to power off/on to see if it fires backup. Ive been looking on the internet to see if I could locate a new firmware for the device and an instruction for you to follow as to how to install it, without much luck so there probably is no update for it at this time. The other option is getting the battery out for a minute. I dont know the device well enough but, if you have access to the rechargeable battery on the device, pulling that battery out for a minute should allow a fresh bootup once re-installed.
These things can be a bit of a pain when they stick. I hope you are able to get er back up and running.
Maybe these suggestions will help better than my first.

I have a hip street mp3 player . I have copied some songs from windows media player. It says that they are on the device but it won't playback

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

I have... had the same issue. You have to go to "set up", then "system tools", then "reset", then "yes"... next time fork out the few extra bucks and buy a better product.
Hope it works for yours too.
