Question about VistaSource MILTOPE TSC-750M MSD-FR QTY 11-10 (850002-001-010) PC Desktop
We recently bought a new computer. I am pretty savvy with MS OFfice 2007 which we had before. We have ms works nowl. How can I convert 2007 docs to this?
I'm not sure you can convert back to Works, as it's much more primitive than even early versions of Office, but another solution would be to install OpenOffice, a free open-source program - in particular, the Novell release which has an extension to allow loading and saving of Office 2007 files. Go to the URL below :
From there, you'll want to download OpenOffice.org and the OpenXML translator, which is the Office 2007 extension you need (you want odf-converter-1.1-7.oxt if you're using Windows). Extract and install OpenOffice.org, then run it (use OpenOffice Writer for regular word-type documents). Go to Tools --> Extension Manager, then click Add, browse to the downloaded .oxt file and select it.
And that's everything you'll need to do. Once you restart OpenOffice, you'll be able to load and save Office 2007 documents.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
