Has the music files been converted/rip into MP3 format files before you copied them to your MP3 player??

  • jay_thakore Sep 02, 2010

No I had not converted the file. The songs were uploaded loaded long time back.

You can convert your CD's into MP3 files by using the Windows Media player and Rip the CD songs (ie convert them to MP3 files) so you can play them on your SanDisk MP3 player.

Please use the software required to upload the files as the sansa will not recognise the normal mode music files unless they are compresssed to the requirement of the ipod.
Go to the link below to download and convert the music files and send them to your sansa.

Don't have the Mp3 player plugged in while you are deleting them. and if you don't have it plugged in then just make sure you have enough space to keep adding songs.

My mp3 player won't download my music files

What you should try is backing up your unit, if there are songs from any other source on your player
other than the one main computer you use.

Determine whether the entire load is less than 2 GB and if so, then reformat your MP3 player to make
use of space from songs which, though deleted from your player, (such deletions only decapitate the
file header) still may occupy significant disk space which is at a premium on your player.

Totally reinstall your player and then load your music onto same, leaving some headroom (some portion
of 2 GB i.e. 100 to 500 MB) on your player to allow for streaming of your music, which will enhance your
enjoyment of same.

How do a veiw my library on my mp3

Plug your mp3 into the computer using your usb cable. Open windows explorer and click on drive "E". it might be different on different computers but a little playig around should find it. Then by trolling through it you should find all the files available on your mp3. Your problem was created by removing it from the computer without using the safety hardware removal. I still have not found a simple method to rectify this problem.

Hello,

Connect your sansa to the computer and then explore the drive and delete . also empty the recycle bin not to occupy space from your computer storage.

1 gb mp3 player not working

Same thing happened to me. I was using windows media player to sync my song and it says my player was using 260 mb of space even though it was formatted time after time. I simply loaded as many song as I could fit on the player. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, windows media now showed that missing 260 mb of space as available. The only catch is that the song I had already uploaded on to the player were not shown on the sync list.
