Question about Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP Console
You either play them under direct (sun) light or attach some kind of external light like a worm light for a game boy color/advance, but the light isn't evenly distributed. i have a halo light for my gb advance--better than nothing.
game boy advance sp has a front lit screen.
GameStop sells game boy advance sp for $40.
hope this helped some

My son bought a Gameboy Advance SP at a rummage sale, and it appears to work fine, except the on/off switch for the backlight? Suggestions on how to fix or What is the halo light that was mentioned, and where to buy it?

Tips for a great answer:

The Problem is Most Likely you need to adjust the brightness, to do so: GameBoy Advance: you can just turn the brightness on and off from the main screen
GameBoy Advance SP: you can turn the brightness from brighter to darker (main screen again),but not off. And you turn the brightness on and off by pressing the small button near the screen.
