Morning Irene, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
The F10 and
F30 error codes are in regards to an open or failed oven sensor. If the sensor
and EOC has been replaced, more than likely a professional would need to
inspect the wiring harness between the EOC and sensor.
Hi - Typically error code F30 for Frigidaire range indicates an issue with the sensor probe or the wiring harness between sensor probe and EOC.Try resetting the unit and see if the error code will clear. You can either unplug the unit or flip the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn on the range. If issue continues, contact a professional to move forward accurately
I have had the same problem. A repairmant has been out twice. I had an F30 code aalso which I believe is a temp sensor. However he replaced that and had to replace the control assembly to repair it. I have had it go out twice while under warranty and it just went out again. If you have a buzzing I would replace the control assembly.
you can set the amount of time for self clean that you want, you can also turn it off during mid cycle, but if oven is hot it will not unlock the door til it is cooled down enough, maybe 20 min to 1/2 hr. It is a safety pre-caution.
Hi here is the meaning of the F30 error code. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment. Mike
F30 F31 Open probe connection. Shorted Probe connection. 1. (F30 or F31) Check resistance at room temperature & compare to *RTD Sensor resistance chart. If resistance does not match the RTD chart replace RTD Sensor Probe. Check Sensor wiring harness between EOC & Sensor Probe connector. 2. (F30 or F31) Check resistance at room temperature, if less than 500 ohms, replace *RTD Sensor Probe. Check for shorted Sensor Probe harness between EOC & Probe connector.
Open (F30) or shorted (F31) RTD sensor probe/ wiring problem. Note: EOC may initially display an "F10", thinking a runaway condition exists.
1- Press Cancel key. 2- Check wiring in probe circuit for possible short or open condition. Check RTD resistance at room temperature (compare to probe resistance chart). If resistance does not match the chart, replace the RTD sensor probe. Let the oven cool down and restart the function. 3- If the problem persists replace the relay board.
