Question about Frigidaire PLEF398AC Electric Kitchen Range
I've had a similar problem - door is locked. If the door is open - locate the light switch and hold it in for a few seconds. Sometimes it makes a noise and resets the lock. Otherwise, push the Clean button and the Cancel button on front of oven simultaneously and hold for about 30 seconds. The ?locked? light should disappear. If it is working, you?ll hear a mechanical hum as it resets.

Frigidaire stove door is locked to be cleaned but the door is ajar and the cleaning is not happening either. Should I just wait for three hours to end and then it will unlock. Or, do I need to do something to get it unlocked.
Thank you, Robin

My door remained locked for several hours after the Oven Cleaning cycle was complete. As mentioned by RMclellans solution,I pushed in on the right side of the door for 20 seconds and it unlocked. Seems the door switch is slightly out of adjustment. Thanks RMclellan!

Stuck in lock after self clean maybe? the lock assembly is in the back. you can open up the back to get to it and get the unit open.

Since the door is open and the lock is engaged, you will need to hold the "door closed" switch in located in the top left door opening. Push and hold the switch in, push the clean button, set the time at 3:00 hours, keep holding the switch in for 20 seconds, then push cancel button. The motorized locking mechanism should disengage. Then, you can release the switch. Hope this helps.

F90-Maximum oven door unlock time exceeded.
1. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check the wiring between EOC & Lock Motor Micro Switch. 2. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Replace the Motor Door Latch assembly if necessary. 3. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check for binding of the Latch Cam, Lock Motor Rod & Lock Motor Cam. 4. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check to see if Lock Motor Coil is open. If open, repl;ace Lock Motor Assembly. 5. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Lock Motor continuosly runs - if Micro Switch is open, replace Lock Motor Assembly. 6. (F92, 93 & 94) Check oven door Light Switch - if open, replace Switch. 7. If all situations above do not solve probem, replace EOC.

sounds as if there is a problem with the latch assy, there are 2 switches mounted on the latch mechanism for monitoring positon of hte switches, seems as if one has gone bad, not recognizing the door lock positon therfore continues to rotate without stop.part number for the motor latch assy w/switch and bracket 318095957 . located behind rear panel
