Eclipse AV5101 error message A9600072
I have an Eclipse AV5101 unit. When I supply power, the display shows HELP! and then just displays A9600072 - which I assume is some type of error code. All the buttons on the display are inoperative at that point, including the power. If I unplug the E-Lan from the Multi-source Control Tuner (I assume that is the correct description for it) and then reconnect, it at least plays one default radio station - it cannot be changed nor can you change the volume. My wife said she was playing it and she heard some type of pop and then it cut out. Is there some type of breaker or fuse that I'm not seeing?

- Thanks for the info. That was in fact the serial number. I called Eclipse and was able to obtain the unlock code and it is now working properly. Not sure why it locked up, but doesn' t matter now. Thanks.Best Solution

That's your serial number. Help more than likely means that the wrong CD has been used 10 times to try to unlock the head unit, or that the wrong 3 digit code was used...or a combination of both. Only option now? calling Eclipse is your only choice.
