Did you remove and reinsert the cartridges? Perhaps, clean the contacts. This is a cartridge error.

Again I check all contacts, and replace all cartridges and maintenance tank also. But still showing "Service Req 00010020".

It may be that the "ink sponge" is end of life. (This is below the print head when resting) it's a sponge that the ink drips into when the heads clean.) It reaches a "value" and causes an error. Try this Epson reset utility to "clear" the counters on the printer; see if it will run again. http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml

Keep in mind; if that sponge is too full; it will cause over-flow of ink down the road. Try blotting it with a microfiber towel, or paper towel etc.

I am Eric, I have this error message on my epson stylus pro 9600, SERVICE REQ. 00010004

Hi,

Service Request errors in the range 00010004 - 000101D are related to a carriage movement problem. In some instances like paper jams, the carriage locking tab may be partially pushed in, causing the carriage locking mechanism to put a drag on the carriage or lock the carriage completely. This will cause a carriage error. Make sure the carriage locking tab is pulled to the left. Then turn the printer's power off and release the carriage by pushing down on the cutter blade. Slide the carriage to the left and look for any paper that also may be restricting the carriage from moving freely.

We have an EPSON STYLUS PRO 9600. We have received the msessage MAINTENANCE REQ 0040. Can you help us, please? Thank you very much.

The codes should be in the owners manual. Otherwise go to the web site in the support area. Type in the printer model then look for error codes support.

Recently my epson 9600 pauses during a printing job for long periods, so that it can take several hours to complete one print.

Need more info.

Are you printing from a computer directly attached to the 9600 ?
or
Are you printing through a network.

If you are using a networked printer then your print job could be slowed a good bit by heavy network traffic.

00010020 error

try this may be it helps you --

00010020 CSIC read / write --
Just like any other mechanical equipment, a printer requires attention to keep it running smoothly. So, just like when the spanner light illuminates on your cars dashboard so does your printer, but instead of a spanner the error 00010020 will appear on your control panel LCD which is informing you that there is a problem communicating with an ink cartridge. This can be caused by a faulty ink cartridge chip or bent pins. This problem can be undertaken here at Large Format Repairs for the Epson Stylus Pro 3800 right upto the beast that is the Stylus Pro 11880.
