You will need to take the front panel off, there are screws inside the dryer door, may be two on each bottom corner, and with a screwdriver gently pry up on the top corners as they are clipped in. Then you will have to unhook the door switch. remove the front panel you will need to look at the back top of dryer and make sure there are no screws that are holding the top down, lift up on top of the dryer and it will rest in the up position on the two brackets, the coil is located in the back right hind side an will look like a extended spring. You might want to remove the back upper plate of the dryer as there is usually a diagram in there, of course remember to unplug dryer before working on it. Hope this helps tim

It is possible that you could have a bad breaker in the panel. They will start to trip randomly when they are going bad. If not the dryer is drawing too many amps and the breaker is doing it's job. If the heating element is defective and drawing extra juice that could trip the breaker. Usually replacement breakers are not too expensive if you electrical panel is less then 20 years old and can be purchased at most home improvement stores. I would try replacing the breaker before you try repairing the dryer. If you install a new breaker and the problem continues to happen then you should check the dryer heating element. That component is what draws the most amps and would be the most common one for tripping the breaker.

My AMANA electric drier will not heat

Verify 220 volts to the terminal block where the cord connects.
If 220 is there, unplug the dryer and check the thermal fuse and hi-limit thermostats on the dryer cannister.

How to replace heating element in Amana Clothes Dryer

when changing heat elements it's best to replace them all they are sometimes sold as kits there are high and low temperature elements that are tin like devices about the size of a qauter and larger and when you get the kit it might have 2 or 4 devices that are pretty simple to change because it will be hard to know which element is bad and the parts are an easy match but the hard part might be finding all of them that easy because each element are in different location on a dryer follow the wiring diagram or look carefully until all or most of the elements are found and replaced....
