Yes, you can partition your hard drive into two parts and you can install windows 7 on 1 and windows 7 on the other one, so you can have two copies of windows, or xp on the other. Just google "how to dual boot windows"

Disk boot failure insert system disk comes up when i try to start the computer

There are a number of possible causes for this; the most common is the HDD has failed (or the hardware does not recognize it for some reason) but it's also possible the OS has become corrupted which has also affected the boot loader (and any partition tables) on the drive, which can also contribute to the error. If you are prepared to lose all data, wipe the OS drive (unless you have a spare to test this theory and see if it is a hardware/motherboard related issue or just the original drive is suspect) and reinstall the OS onto it, without device drivers (just for now as you need to see if it will boot without any problems). If it does, your OS was probably corrupted and simply needed reinstalling. Then it's a matter of installing drivers, software and updates. However, if you get the same 'disk boot failure' error on reboot, then the HDD is most likely full of bad sectors which may be impossible to repair or recover - and therefore it may need to be replaced.

If your OS, its now starting good, it depends, on a great amount of issues, from viruses, bad boot sector, bad drivers, bad boot files, or corrupted ones a lot indeed. but for help you quick, do these steps
1) go into safe mode, windows 7, xp,
2) verifify in control panel and device manager, if is missing any device, and then restart,
2) do in safe mode, an restore checkpoint **
3) if any of those not work, reinstall windows.
hope these help

Bios problem

There is no communication between the hard drive and the motherboard. Try reconnecting it if possible. You can verify this by going into BIOS and seeing if its there. This is the most typical issue. However, if it is in BIOS, then the OS is no longer there and would need to be re-imaged. GL

I have kodak esp office 2150 printer an lost the cd to install to laptop

What OS do you have? Kodak offers the drivers and software for their printers on their support site. The Windows OS version is available here: . You can find other drivers by starting here: . Click on Printers then use the drop-down menus to select All-in-ones and then ESP 2150. Stay in the same menu window until you select the model. Then use the right-hand menu to select downloads and drivers and your OS.

Note: the downloaded software does not include any third-party software that may have been on the original disc. If you want a copy of the disc, you will need to contact Kodak. Start here: .

I hope this helps.

Possible to install Windows XP on an Acer 5532?

Yes you could but Acer won't support it. You either have Vista or 7 in it. If Vista, update to 7 and be done with it.
If you want XP, first copy a full image of your present OS on a external drive using a program like Acronis True Image Home. Then reformat your hard drive when doing an XP install. Do you have a full version XP install disk?

I upgrade the memory of a Dell Dimension Desktop 9150 from 512 MB to 2 GB,The machine accept up to 4 GB..In the BIOS appear the 2 GB but on system in Control Panel only shows 512 MB..Can anybody give me a...

No you don't have to install a 64 bit OS. Only if you install over 3 gigs you MUST install a 64 bit operating system. 800MHZ is fine it will just back down to 667MHZ. your 32bit windows OS will see up to 3 gigs (minus graphics card memory). SO 2 gigs will work fine. Install one stick at a time and check in the OS and bios to make sure each stick works. I would say you possibly have a dead ram stick.
