SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a new bb 8830 world edition phone on a Vodafone GSM network. I have requested for the bb service to be activated. Which the service provder has. Unfortunately, the settings are not received by my BB...

Looks like you just change your original sim card with other network sim card. You must unlock your blackberry first before you can using other network in your phone. What you need is blackberry 8830 unlock code from your original phone network sim card. You can get blackberry unlock code from network provider or buy from third party sites which have lower cost rather than network provider.

Need unlock code for a verizon bb 8830

Impossible to unlock a verizon BB 8830 (or any verizon devices that have a GSM slot). You are better off getting a true GSM BB device and unlock that device.

My Blackberry 8830 w.e. locked up on me. can you please unlock it free for me?

jregister91,

Unlocking it depends on what you mean. If you mean it is just not responding, then remove the battery for 2 minutes. If you are getting error messages, then it will need to be reloaded. I have put a link to the instructions for that. It says the Storm, but I have found after 3 years of BB support it is the same for all versions.

I wanna unlock my bb 8830 from verizon

Sure it is possible to unlock your Verizon BlackBerry 8830. Infact I got my Curve 8310 unlocked last week.
Here is the link that I used to purchase my unlock code.
Unlock code came in via email, along with the instructions on how to key in the code, and within 30 seconds my BB was unlocked.!

Need a numeric passkey for tomtom one xl to enter into the blackberry 8830

try this, pair from the tomtom and not your BB, set your blackberry's bluetooth to discoverable.

from the tomtom search for BT devices, your BB should show up, connect to it, and when asked for a passkey try entering 1234 or 0000. if those dont work your BB should show that the tomtom is attempting to connect and should ask you whether to accept or deny, it may then ask for a passkey which you specify on your BB which you then enter on the tomtom

Blackberry 8830 will not power up; 4 red flashes

I was experiencing the same issue with my 8830. After I attempted to install updates through the blackberry site, it rebooted and would not boot up. I went back to the blackberry site: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp I downloaded the latest from my carrier and I installed it using the exe that I got from my vendor. The whole process took 45 mins but I have a working BB again.

Wont' pair with BB 8830

I had the same problem. Here is what you do:
When your headset is off push the multifunction (on/off) button and keep it pressed until the blue light turns solid blue (i.e. is not blinking). Now you can pair it and your BB will detect it. If you do not wait until the light remains lit it will not happen. Unfortunately this point is not well emphasized in the instructions of use for the device.
Enjoy
