Can't connect to my facebook account

log on with your username only, ask for a new password. it will come to your e-mail address that you had at the time you signed up. sometimes, your accounts may become comprimised, byex-boyfrinds, or angry siblings. changing your passwords on a regular basis, is highly recommended.

My yahoo email and facebook accounts have been hacked. I changed the passwords twice last week, trying to get rid of the hacker, but now I can't even access my yahoo account. My ex mother in law is...

Had you ever assigned a special question to your account that only you will know the answer?
It is clear to me that you have probebly use the same password for both your Facebook account and your Email.

You can go here and declare your account compromised. It will ask you for your Yahoo ID and to copy the provided code into the block provided.

Sometimes Yahoo mail servers are comprimised by spam hackers for spam use so don't go accusing you ex's mother just yet.

It would be a good idea to open a new account and tell all the people who you had in your contacts that your Yahoo account has been compromised.
There was a recent scam where hackers were hijacking accounts and sending mails to all your contacts claiming to be you and telling them to deposit large sums of money into a certain account as you are stranded in Nigeria.

With this in mind:
1) Declare your account compromised here.
2) Delete your old account.
3) Create a new account.
4) Assign security questions that ONLY you would know the answers to. (This is a major way in preventing this from happening again)
5) Send emails to all of your contacts that you had in your old account telling them of the compromisation and to ignore ALL emails from your old account.

Your rating for this solution is highly appreciated.
Thanks.

My account has been comprimised i would like to

Since you don't have the password now you cannot cancel it. In case you wan't that the hacker should not use it then you have only two options left with. First try to send an email to yahoo telling them the facts and ask them to delete that account. Secondly you can ask your friends having yahoo mail account to report abuse on your earlier account. Once 10 users have reported abuse on an account that account will be banned.

I think my Id might have been comprimised. I was cleaning my spam and saw emails from my own email to me and otheres with those viagra adds. What should I do? I have a regular Yahoo classic account.

You should first confirm that your ID's been comprimised. Then if it is indeed comprimised then contact yahoo and have that account shut down. But before you do that you should write down the names of those on your contacts list.
