Hi,

May be you have to set the printer to print one page only.

Usually this occurs because of the nmber of prints mntiond or it is selected as continuosly pint.

Changing the number of copies to one will solve the problem.

reset the printer by pressing the reset botton for atleast 5seconds. then it ask for printing the test page.............. and you have to print the test page completely... otherwise it will ask for printing the ttest page at every print......................
then switch off the printer and again on it..........
then you will see th\at the problems will be solved..................

My machine keeps printing pages and pages of printed pages and won't stop no matter what I do.


If it is printing a print job, press the Printer function button and then choose Reset Job. That will cancel out the print job.

HP officejet 9130 printer: pages keep printing


Yopu can change the rprinting order from the Print Dialogue box or Printer driver.

Look for the following to change page grouping when printed

and the followintg to change printing from first to last and last to first pages

I have printed all odd # pages from a document, but my HP Laserjet 4 won't feed these pages back through to print on the blank side with even # pages. I've tried to keep the front (feeding edge) of papers...


You need to try a thicker paper, Heavier stock to double print the page. Slightly more expensive. Recycled paper typically will not work for this type of function. I had this same problem and found this was the only solution.

Is there a way to keep track of copies printed?


you could print a self test page from the printer, you could find the info of no copies printed in that page.
steps to print self test page from the printer are
presss seetup button on the printer and then press 2 and then 4

These are your possibilities based on your error.

Front cover is open
Close the front cover of the printer.
Fuser cover is open
Close the fuser cover located behind the back cover of the printer.
Paper jam

Memory full

I keep getting a test page before printing my doc or picture


Hi,

To resolve test page prints every time issue, perform the steps provided in the below webpage:

Now, perform the steps below to change the settings from last to first page:

===== From the HP Solution Center software =====

1. Open the HP Solution center.
2. Click Settings--Print Settings --> Printer Settings
3. Click Advanced Tab.
4. Under layout option select the page order from "front to back".
5. Click OK and try printing.

From application
-------------------------

a) Select tools
b) Goto Options
In that select print tab
c) Check the Reverse Print order option.
d) Click Ok.

did u install new ink in there??

left the printer without printing for a long time? (i mean smthing like 2 weeks)?

u can try the cleaning test might be helpful
