Need a User Manual For National Rice Cooker SR-CS10N
Hi, I need a user manual for the National rice cooker SR-CS10N which my friend gave me as a gift (without manual). The instructions are in Japanese characters so I can't understand anything. I'm excited to use it. Thank you.

The steam tray as you call it goes on the inside bottom of the cooker.
It's purpose is to keep the cooking rice separated from the heating element during the steaming process.
The basic measurement is 2 parts water to 1 part rice. Add a quarter cup more water for brown rice. The automatic shut-off won't turn off until the water is gone. It's magic!
Cleaning; soak the cook pot and perforated plate to remove rice goo
DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL PADS or abrasive cleanser. I use a nylon dish cleaning brush to remove the stuck on brown material.
Hi. Checked on Australian Panasonic spares website for part no ASR111-494F and apparently it's no longer available. Panasonic spares would all come from the same source, so it's a good chance it's unavailable worldwide. Sorry.
I have a salton rice cooker model ra-3. I cannot find my cooking book for it. Also my measuring cup that came with it. I want to know the ratio for water and rice. I do have lines in my pot. I seem to remember that you are not suppose to put salt in with the rice. I can't remember if you could subsitute broth for the water. If you could help me out with this that would be great. Also where can I get a new manual.
here is the link for the user manual if you need it
I think you may possibly cure this by pressing and holding start as you plug the unit in. also try pressing start and timer together when plugging in. If this doesn't help then unfortunately;
Panasonic recommend that the unit needs to be serviced - you can contact them on 1-800-211-7262 for more details or online at
I hope this helps :)
